Suffering from some truly awful technical issues -- weird and corny camera work, and a terrible score chiefly -- The Mist is otherwise a really great early 00's horror that seems to get dragged in modern critical circles. As not only one of the more faithful Stephen Kind adaptations, but one of the better ones overall, The Mist is definitely a film to add to your Spooky-Season watchlist.
